DISCRETE18

This is the 6th Symposium on Prospects in the Physics of Discrete Symmetries, DISCRETE 2018, the latest of the DISCRETE conference series (for information on previous years see:  DISCRETE 2008, DISCRETE 2010, DISCRETE 2012, DISCRETE 2014, DISCRETE 2016), which this year will take place in Vienna at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Ignaz Seipel-Platz from: 26th to the 30th of November 2018. Registration, Abstract Submission, Proceedings Submisson, and the Program (Schedule) will be handeled through an INDICO-page hosted by CERN. Parts of this website and the indico webpage are still under construction. So please revisit for the latest information and please excuse that some details are not yet available.

The topics covered at the DISCRETE series of conferences are:

[1] T, C, P, CP and CPT symmetries

[2] Emergence of symmetries from entanglement

[3] Discrete symmetries in cosmology (dark matter, baryogenesis, leptogenesis etc.) - together with VCES

[4] Neutrino masses, mixing and discrete symmetries

[5] Discrete symmetries and models of flavour mixing

[6] Supersymmetry

[7] Strings, branes, extra dimensions and discrete symmetries

[8] New results from LHC, new facilities

[9] PT symmetric Hamiltonians

[10] Multimessenger probes of the universe

DISCRETE18 will share Friday, the 30th of November with the 14th Vienna Central European Seminar (VCES), an independent meeting on global an local symmetries. There will be a common session on "Discrete symmetries in cosmology".

The format of the talks will be: Plenary (30 + 5 min), invited research talks (30 + 5 min) and shorter presentations (20 + 5 min), selected from the submitted abstracts.

The meeting is organized jointly by the Stefan Meyer Institute for Subatomic Physics, Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna.
